adg608TRU mux

hi,

i can't get this ADG608TRU mux to work right

a mux suppose to output according to the select line (A2, A1, A0)

but the mux here i put together doesn't follow that at all

i've tried with regular mux and it work just fine

so what did i do wrong

Hi wing18,

I looked at your circuit and it seems that you have VSS set to 0V. The datasheet mentions that VSS should be -5V. Try to change the value and then test the results. I would also suggest trying to build some other test circuits mentioned in the datasheet to make sure they are working.

Hope this helps.

hi Tayy,

i tried having VSS as -5V as well before posting here but that doesn't work

what is Ron, delta Ron, and Ron Match that they mentioned in the data sheet?

Hello,

RON stands for On-Resistance whihc is the output load of a device (or transistor) when it is termed to be fully in the active (ON) state. delta RON stands for the difference in this value, though I'm not sure in relation to what change (could be voltage applied as the test conditions go from -3v to 3v. RON match refers to impedance matching for maximizing power output.
