Where is the IV Analyzer Instrument in Multisim 2012/2013

There is an instrument used in the academic version of Multisim called the IV Analyzer.  I am attempting to complete circuit simulation for lab exercises before actually going to lab, but cannot find this instrument in either Multisim 2012 or 2013. 

 

Please Help!

Forgot to mention, the 2012 and 2013 versions are Full Edition.

Hi,

 

Thanks for contacting us. The IV Analyzer is not included in Multisim Base and Full Edition. It is only available in the Power Pro Edition and the Student/Educational Edition. You can fin a comparison table here.

 

An alternative is to use the DC Sweep Analysis to plot the current-voltage curves for the device. Here is a tutorial on how to use this analysis:
