I ran this replica of your circuit, to make sure there were no errors with  your connections, and it ran perfectly well, try the file that I sent and see how it behaves,  if it gives you the same result then  you'd either have some configurations set incorrectly, or there could be something wrong with the installation of your software. That said the default configurations of the program work just fine for this, so I'm a bit unsure right now what could be causing this behaviour.
