Bhekisizwe,
The 'unknown starting source error' is a difficult simulation error to diagnose as it is a general error for a host of different issues in simulation. 99 times out of 100 the error is usually:
1.) A connection error in your schematic - so please double check all of your connections.
If still not working:
2.) Go to Simulate >> Interactive Simulation settings. Select the 'Maximum time step (TMAX)' radio button and set this value to 1e-003 Sec.
If still not working:
3.) Go to Simulate >> Interactive Simulation Settings. Select the Analysis Options tab. Select the 'Use Custom Settings' radio button and click the Customize button. Change the RSHUNT value to 1e+009. Change the RELTOL to 0.01.
If still not working:
4.) Go to Simulate >> Interactive Simulation Settings. Select the Analysis Options tab. Select the 'Use Custom Settings' radio button and click the Customize button. Select the Transient tab. Set the Integration method [METHOD] to Gear.
This should resolve this simulation error.
