Yes, another one of these errors.
I am running Windows XP in Oracle VirtualBox. I have installed Multisim 11. This worked just fine up until i deleted the virtual Windows XP and reinstalled it... When I installed multisim again, I have continuously gotten this error:
This circuit has no power sources: unable to determine the simulation timestep automatically.Add a power source or set the simulation timestep under "Interactive Simulation Settings" to proceed.
The circuit I have set up is VERY simple... a DC Power source, a resistor and a ground, but I still get the same error above. I have uninstalled multisim and reinstalled it. I have deleted user config files. I have tried repairing the program. I have updated the program. I even removed the virtual windows again and installed it again. Nothing.
I have searched these forums and seen that others have gotten this same error, but there has not been a solid solution that has worked for me. So I am throwing this same problem up again, and hopefully there has been a solution that I have over looked, or maybe how to setup the time step properly or something...
Thanks for your time, and ANY further information you require, just let me know... like I said... just a real simple circuit and I get the same error... I have tried using example circuits on the cd from my troubleshooting book... still get the same error...
Jim!
