Hello, is there a way to create a three phase reactive power meter using the components/instruments provided in Multisim v12?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Tobster

Una solucion que se me ocurre es que utilices 2 wattmeter en conexion Aron y asi puedes calcular la potencia reactiva del sistema trifasico.

Thank you for the quick reply!

Conexion Aron is the same with 2 wattmeter method? I attached a screenshot with the connections and the formula for reactive power. If they are correct, please confirm.

Hi Tobster

1) Yes.. Conexion Aron is the same  with 2 wattmeter method.

2) The connection is fine. But the formula is Q = sqrt (3) (XWM2-XWM3)

  (XWM2+XWM3) =P

  Sqrt (3) (XWM2-XWM3) = Q

  S = P + JQ
