I have a Power supply that is giving me a convergence error. it is suppose to give an output of 6V. Im not sure if the bridge rectifier is a 2A bridge rectifier can someone also confirm?
Please see attachment for the multisim file

Hi,
Have you tried these suggestions already?
How Do I Solve Simulation Errors in Multisim? http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/A65253BD02F585CD86257A6B0049945D

Yes i have tried those suggestions. The Convergence Assistant says that it fixed the error successfully but when i try to run it, it still gives me the error.

When running the simulation I saw that if you add a resistor (no matter what value) to the "common voltage pin" of the LM 7806KC the simulation runs smoothly. Have you tried using voltage regulators different from the LM 7806KC?

I decided to do it over and it surprisingly ran fine but it is not outputting 6V...
This is the circuit im trying to build http://www.circuitstoday.com/6-volt-regulator-circuit-using-7806

Anyone have any ideas why i'm not getting 6V. Could it be a problem with the circuit?

By using the Multisim Instruments such as the Oscilloscope you can look into which of the components is not doing its job at the different points of the circuits (before and after the component). In this specific case, I believe the problem is related to the transformer. Take a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hPkqayEvP8
Best!
