Parameter sweep simulation result differs from interactive simulation result

Hello,

I am trying to do a parameter sweep simulation (DC operating point) on this simple voltage divider circuit:

The value of resistor R1 is given by an expresion which depends on parameter "T"

Running two separate interactive simulations for T = 0 and for T = 50, I get the following results, as one would expect:

  • For T = 0 ----> V_PR1 = 6V
  • For T = 50 --->V_PR1 = 12V

The problem comes when I do the parameter sweep simulation (DC operating point):

I am leaving the analysis options as default.

I get the following results, which are incorrect:

I have also realised that the result I get is dependent on the initial "T" value I have on the "circuit parameter window", which I find to be weird.

For example, if I change the T value to 50 and run the same parameter sweep as before, I get the following results:

Can anyone spot what I am doing wrong?

Thank you

Regards

David

Hello, I tried reproducing your error in Multisim 14.2. I copied all the settings in your simulation profile but for me it works as it should, regardless of the initial value for T.
