Hello, thanks for response
as much as I know - there is no direct way to do that but there is a work around -
open blank project
right click -> place grafic -> picture - -> navigate to your file and make sure the filter is OFF ( all files are supported )
it worked OK for MS11,12,13,14with hope it helpsgood luckMichael

When I right click-place grafic-picture-open it says problem reading in bitmap.

double check please, if your picture file is OK and readable with some other program
