Yup...Windows 11 has become such a problem and such a security vulnerability that they are thinking of terminating the ~150 licenses they use once they finish testing alternatives for linux.Our school has already had issues with breaches due to Win 11 vibe coding so they are deadly serious about the switch.
Now I quite like Multisim and there is perhaps one alternative software out there that I would consider close to what MS14 has to offer. I've gotten so used to it and don't want to see it go. I'm at the mercy of the department.
All this to say, please tell me NI has finally started working on MS14 for linux. I spoke with my professors and they say that they already have 3-4 candidates to replace MS and Utiliboard. People have been asking for linux support for years, I think that NI should take this as a sign for what's to come if they don't adapt to the changing times.
