I have just purchased the student version of Multisim 13.0 for school and have applied the patches available to a non-subscriber. When I try to create a logic circuit within the logic converter the program crashes. I am not a subscriber so I am not eligible to get tech support. I am running windows 10. Is there a fix for this problem?

Thanks. I have read that post before. It talks about a patch that was supposed to be out a year ago. I have installed all the patches available to me.

Hi davidcd62,
Could you let me know the version of Multisim that you have? If you have Multisim 13.0, I would take a look into the following article and download the update in case you were not prompted to install.

I have Multisim 13.0.0 (13.0.632). I tried to install the patch from the link your provided, but it would not install because i don't have 13.01.

Hi davidcd62,
What I would recommend in this case is downloading the 13.0.1 version. Attached are two links that might help:
- NI Circuit Design Suite 13.0.1 Professional Edition (Multisim and Ultiboard)
http://www.ni.com/download/ni-circuit-design-suite-power-professional-13.0.1/4643/en/
- NI Circuit Design Suite 13.0.1 Education Edition (Multisim and Ultiboard)
http://www.ni.com/download/ni-circuit-design-suite-educational-edition-13.0.1/4641/en/
The only thing you need to verify is if the Serial Number number you have will allow you to activate this version and the type of edition you have access to.
Unfortunately that is the best solution we might have, since that was a bug that was fixed for that version.
Regards,
Luis

Thanks for the replies. I was able to talk to tech support, and the solution was to run the program in windows 8 compatibility mode. I am using windows 10.
