Multisim simulation multimeter not showing reading after simulation button press

I am running student version multisim 14. I made a very simple circuit and place two multimeter and run dc analysis.

But the problem i am facing that i am getting calculation window but multimeters not showing any simulation value.

can anyone help me to understand this please.

Hi shabeesatsangi,

 

The multimeter components are meant to be used during interactive simulation. When you run DC Op analysis, you will see the results in a table in the grapher. 

 

To see values in your multimeters, change your simulation mode to Interactive and run the simulation.

XMM3 is reading current so must be placed in the circuit. A current meter has very low resistance and when placed across a voltage source effectively shorts the votage source.
