Multisim Live Premium Subscription

So I began using Multisim in college and really liked it.  I bought the student version and used it quite a bit.  I've since graduated but still enjoy playing around and working on little hobby projects.  I needed to double check a circuit I was building, so I fire up Multisim and find my license has expired.

No problem, they have Multisim Live.  While I do have access to the free version, I was looking at the pricing options.  Am I correct in finding that there's no subscription option available, and the only way to get premium is to buy the desktop version, with $650 being the cheapest version that I could see mentioned anywhere.  I can't justify that kind of money on something I jump into a few times a year.  No love for the hobbyist?
