Multisim 14.1 vs 14.2 Activation

Good afternoon, I am about to purchase NI Multisim v14.2 Student edition from Studica, however the version they are selling is 14.2. Unfortunately my college is still using 14.1 - My question is will I be able to activate v14.1 with my purchased key from 14.2, any help would be greatly received as I cant seem to find anywhere that sells 14.1 Student version.

I'm also going to have to deal with this potential issue for the coming school year, and hopefully bumping this post will get a response about if a 14.2 serial number will be accepted as valid during an install of 14.1
