Not long time ago I started using NI Multisim, and I was very happy with its range of components until I actually tried to design something useful.
Multisim is missing like half of all 7400 TTL's in 74LS family, not only that, Multisim doesn't include all components in 74LS family in 74HC family.
Here is list of 7400 series TTL's: List_of_7400_series_integrated_circuits.
At first I wanted to use only 74HC family, but first component which I needed was 74181, it was missing, so I decided to use 74LS family, now I need 74182, and it's missing in 74LS and 74HC family!
Is there a good reason not to include so many components, or does simulator cant see difference between families(I doubt that, because in reality there is significant difference)?
