Hello,

There is no new version or update for multisim since 2017. Is this product discontinued?

Hi,

Multisim latest update is 14.1 which was released in 2017. Now, there is a new platform called Multisim Live. You can check it here.

Multisim 14.2 is now released with updated LabVIEW 2018 and 2019 version support and can be downloaded here: https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/downloads/software-products/download.multisim.html#312060. It installs via NI Package Manager.

We're still using LabVIEW 2016, is there a document that lists the upgrades in Multisim 14.2 to tell us what is new?

Will it play well with LV2016 or should we stick to LV 14.1?

The main change between Multisim 14.1 and Multisim 14.2 is the Co-Simulation Plug-in and custom LabVIEW-based instruments support.

Multisim 14.1 works with LabVIEW 2015 and 2016. Multisim 14.2 works with LabVIEW 2017, 2018 and 2019. For more information, you can read the Readme files of the 14.1 and 14.2 versions.

@EnHernan

What about the installable version, what's the development gonna be like now there's Multisim Live?
I'm still waiting for a Multisim-version that is capable of using more than one CPU core while simulating, to speed up the simulation process in the more complex circuits...
