Importing pspice model into multisim problem

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I am new to multisim and I would like to ask for help because I am still learning how to make my own spice models. I am trying to import into multism a spice model of FDS4559 N channel mosfet. The source text of the model is given at the bottom of the post and it is downloaded from https://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/supportDoc.do

I am trying to understand the mistake I made while importing. In the component wizard I did the following steps:

  1. Set component name to FDS4559, selected simulation only (model) and selected Analog component type
  2. Selected single selection component, and set the number of pins to 4
  3. Selected the four pin block as symbol of the component
  4. Set the simbol pins in the next order: S, G, D, D
  5. Loaded the file that contained the source text at the bottom of the post.
  6. Pin mapped symbol pin S to model node 3, G to 1, D to 2 and again D to 2
  7. Saved it in a user database, under transistor, into a newly created family called N_CH_MOS

Can somebody please tell me where I went wrong? Thank you for your time. Source text:
