How do I use Multisim to test various components (coupling capacitor, resistor, and the voltage source) using a function generator and oscilloscope?

Im using Multisim to measure a source generator, a coupling capacitor, and a resistor. The problem that im having is the readings that im getting are totally different from my peers in class. I tried hooking up the components in various ways to figure out what was causing the difference but I cannot determine the problem. Ive tried simulating tolerances, using the same material composition as the real components, isolating the components, switching from negative to common on the function generator, but I cannot figure it out. If anybody can help me I would gladly appreciate it. Ill include a picture of the assignment below to give you a better understanding of what I am doing.

I hope you are doing great. There are a couple of questions I would like to make you about this issue:

Did you try running a circuit of one of your peers in your computer?

Do you have the same Multisim version of your peer?

What simulation tools are you using and what would be the expected behavior of this circuit?
