I've been trying to simulate the below circuit with the variation of values presented as well with several other varieties to see the effect on the output voltage. I built the circuit to step up the 9 V battery supply to 400 V. Every time I run the simulation it says Vo boosts to 100 V. Can some one explain why the value won't go above 100 V, and what I need to fix to get the output to simulate correctly.
I am not familiar with flyback converter architectures, but I analyzed your circuit in Multisim. If I am not wrong, the stage in charge of increasing the voltage is between R3 and D2, right? Based on that I think that you can try using transistors with higher gain.
