Diode - Volts vs Current

Hey

Posted this in the wrong forum...

What i am trying to do is produce a diode curve by using a 100ohm resistor and a 1n4001 diode in multisim. I need to have a voltage from 0.2 to 2 volts and establish the current.

My circut look similar to this

    (V)----------100OHM--------------(A)|
     |                                    |               |
     |                                    |               |
    0.2V                          14N001        |
    |                                     |               |
    |--------------------------------------------

I need to do this in multisim 8, software only.

Is it called a diode dc sweep?

Thanks for any help

I tried DC Sweep Analysis I could only get Source Voltage versus Diode Voltge on the graph. I have been unable to get a Voltage Versus Current graph. I know I am not setting this up right and will continue looking at this to see what I can come up with.

You can use the IV analyzer to get a voltage versus current tab. It is one of the instruments.

Thanks Garrett. I didn't even see that instrument in the toolbar until you made your post (most of the time I use the voltmeter, ammeter and scope in transient analysis). Thanks very much for that information.
