AC analysis of RLC circuit in parallel with C

 

Hi all,

 

The AC analysis of the attached circuit does not match the analytical solution of the circuit.

Any suggestion?. Could it be related to the value of the capacitors?.

Hi,

 

Sorry for the delay.

 

Please find atached a file where you can see a comparison betweeen multisim and the analytical solution.

The impedance of the circuit is shown (in dB for the module).

 

As you can notice, there is a difference.

By default, Multisim inserts 1e12ohm resistors (RSHUNT) from every node to ground. Due to the very small caps in your circuit, the impedance at node 3 becomes very comparable to this value and therefore throws off the results. To adjust the RSHUNT setting, go to AC analysis->analysis options->customize->Global tab. Uncheck RSHUNT to remove it or increase its value.

I'm not able to perform a transient response of an RLC Network. I drive hey typical quartz crystal model with a pulse and get no result
