With the 14 version release there are probes feature added that I did not have a chance to evalute however probe can be moved dynamically to the specific net to check a signal level (voltage or current) or when you place on a component so power dissipation can be measured and showed (power dissipation vs time).

Open Circuits

Recently in class we were using the Signal Generator and the Bode Plotter.  It made it somewhat difficult to get the correct readings because the live version does not include an option to place an open wire (was using it on an op amp) like in the application version.  It also made it somewhat difficult to change an AC current when involving different equations. Overall I like the Live version.

Stop re-drawing the screens over and over again

This seems to have become worse and worse in recent revisions of MS and UB.  When the spreadsheet is open on a net or part tab in UB or MS every time I touch a net or part or row in the spreadsheet it redraws the screens over and over and over for many many iterations before calming down.  At least 3 times but sometimes as many as maybe 10 or more times.  And it's not very fast either.  It is becoming VERY irritating.

Provide for renaming files directly in the toolbox project view

This would make managing files in a project that much simpler.  As it is now you have to go into windows explorer, rename the file, go back to the toolbox, click on the file, navigate to and select the new file after it tells you it can't find the file anymore.

 

Just a right click/rename would be so much smoother.
