why my thermocouple reading out of range

I  want to supply 5 V to my analog output to run my dc motor. In order to tun the 12 V c motor I need to amplify my voltage to 12 V. So I am using the amplifier circuit. As I switch on the power supply to give supply to the amplifier the thermocouople reading will be out of range (1000++) and the voltage at the analog output channel has increased from 5 to 9V. Can I know why the power supply effect that? and how to overcome this problem.

Hi Aishah,

I suspect a hardware problem. Can you describe the hardware setup? Maybe a diagram would be helpful. Also, the details of your amplifier.

Sincerely,
