use down counter.vi, the output lasts only 20sec

Hi,

I want to generate a signal after encoder pulses past its index pulse certain number of pulses. I use the down counter or divider config.vi and counter start.vi, I got the pulse out for 20 sec to 1 minute then it stoped. I tried few changes like restart or stop-start but nothing seems working. I use Lebview 5.1 and PCI-MIO-16E-1. The counter sorce is the encoder signal and gate is the index signal.
I also like to output a analog signal each time the pulse output from the counter. I haven't try to program that yet.
Could someone know how to make the card working continuously?
Also could this program run parallel to a fast sampling routine?

Thanks for posting on the NI Forums.

Unfortunately I do not have that version of LabVIEW installed on my machine at present. If you could post your VI to this forum then I will do my best to replicate the issue whereby the pulse stops, and/or find a workaround for you.

I will have a look into answering your other questions aswell for you.
