usb-600xx RS-232

I'd like to create a test device with multiple sensors and actors, whereby one device communicate by rs-232.

 

I didn't found any information regarding this, thats why the question:

 

can I use a usb-600xx device to communicate with RS-232?

No.  Get a USB-RS232 adapter.  There are some out there that are pretty cheap.  I have had good luck with the TU-S9.  If you want more reliable, StarTech has some good industrial grade adapters (I am a fan of the ICUSB2324I).

some years ago I / we had problems with those converters.

 

Is this still an issue or are there no problems with those converter any more?

I find it to be a hit-or-miss for most converters out there.  I state these two because I have had success with them on multiple systems.  If you are on a desktop and have the PCI(e) slots, I would recommend NI's RS-232 cards (they are on the higher price, but are definitely industrial grade).
