Hi to all the Comunity and I apologize for some possible errors with my english.
I have a problem in the installation of an USB-6009 device in Windows7 x64.
I have already downloaded and installed the last NI-DAQmx 9.0.2 and the device appear correctly installed on the OS in the Device Manager.
The problem is in the MAX that is not able to detect the device.
I have try also to change USB door and to reinstall all the package NI-DAQmx, but the device is always not detected in the MAX.
Any other suggestion are well appreciated to solve this problem
Thanks to all

Hi Maverjk,
I have a couple a question for you to try to resolve your problem.
* Have you download the DAQmx base or full package?
* Can you try to install your USB-6009 on an other PC and tell me if it works?
Otherwise you can try to repair your MAX database: read this documents.
Ciao!

Hi
My NI USB-6009 is not recognized by any of netbooks I got neither eeepc 900 with a intel atom processor and a windowsXP OS or with UBUNU nor Packard bell's dot.m with an ATHLON processor with a windows vista OS or UBUNTO. I mean no first time installation program ran when I pug it to the net book but this usb is working perfect on my dell notebook or on my desktop with windows xp.

Hi
I think that to make possible that your USB device will work fine you have to install the DAQmx package compatible with your OS.
The DAQmx is possible to download from the NI website. You have just do find it.
Hope that this can be helpful for you.

But there is one more question I wana send an sms via my cellphone. This is a part of remote monitoring system measuring by Ni USB6009 and creating a text file which gathering data then sending a part of these data in certain periods of time by sms as a condition of my system.
Is there way to do so with labview ( I know there are some works by C++, # or AT commands )?

Hi thisisit,
I suggest that you try to connect USB-6009 to PC through an USB hub with a power supply.
Tell me more if you resolve your issue.
Ciao!
