terminal configuration ways

Solved!

Hi, everyone, I want to measure a voltage on my NI-6356 device. When I choose the terminal configuration, the only available for this device is Differential,so I look up on the website how to set up the differential measurement system, two pictures are attached. According to the tutorial, I should connect my positive terminal and negative terminal of any AI chanel to the positive termial of Vm. And the AI GND terminal of any AI channel to the negative terminal of Vm. So according to the structure of my NI device, I should connect pin 1 and pin 2 to the Vm+, and pin 3 to the Vm-. Is it right? If it is corrent, does it conflict with another tutorial that I attached here as pic 3. Thanks

Hello

-          Using this module for differential measurement, if you want to use analog input 0, you should connect your positive terminal to AI0+ (pin 68) and the reference to AI 0- (pin 34). The third image you attached is for other module.

-          You should follow this document:

-          http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3344/en#toc1

-          For AI GND functionality, please check the link above on figure 11.
