power supply to cdaq 9136

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I have connected a dc power supply (24VDC) to my cdaq 9136. It's not powering on. Am I missing something?

I also found no tutorials on getting started with cdaq(regarding wiring, power supply etc)

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

B

Hi B

Which terminals have you wired the power supply into?

Make sure you try wiring the power and ground wires of the power supply to V1 and C respectively.

Is this device brand new out of the box, or has it been used before?

Thanks Alex,

Turns out my wiring was fine, the power supply was not.

I do have another issue where I have plugged a monitor, keyboard and mouse into the cdaq and I get no display. I tried to connect it to my laptop to check if it shows up on NI max but nothing there either.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

Yes, it is new.

Thanks,

B

My CDAQ is functioning now! Turns out you can't use HDMI with cdaq. It has to be either active DVI or VGA.

Thanks to NI support:)
