Hi ajay200126,

Thanks for the post and I hope your well today.

In short, yes it will work.

The SH68-C68-S is designed to be used with National Instruments motion boards and is not recommended for use with M Series cards because it does not provide as much sheilding as the SHC68-68-EPM. However, it is still a cable option for M Series boards.

* The SHC68-68-EP cable is intended for E Series DAQCards (PCMCIA only), but will also work with M Series devices. The SHC68-68-EPM cable is recommended for M Series because it gives better protection against noise on the digital lines of the M Series boards.

Hope this helps,

Kind Regards

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me - I hope my advice found you well.

The D1 has D-type connectors - these won't connect to the pci 6259."The shielded 68-conductor cable terminated with two 68-pin female 0.050 series D-type connectors. This cable connects counter/timer devices to the accessories."

I would recommend looking at this knowledgebase,

Cabling Options for M Series

The cables you can use are,

SHC68-68-EPM

SHC68-68-EP

SH68-C68-S

SH68-C68-S

RC68-68

SHC68-NT-S

Hope this clears things up for you.

Kind Regards
