My first thought would be to contact Advantech. I have used a digital IO device from Advantech and found it confusing at first. Did you read ALL the documentation for the drivers, they are not as simple and straight forward as using a NI card with MAX. I just looked and the drivers for the DIO are in the measurement IO palette.
