ni-DAQmx on openSuSE 10.0

Hey there,
I try to install Ni-DAQmx base 1.5 on a Athlon64 Machine with SuSE 10.0 (2.6.13).
The Screen says 'Installation successfull' but lsdaq and the rest does not work. It simply says "Abbruch" (german for Aborted).
So I studied the output of the INSTALL skript more carefully. It says 'nikal only works forks x86'.
What do I have to do to make it work. I always thought, that Athlon64 has only 64bit extensions but but eats native 32bit code anyway.

Yes, I have the same problem, though in my case I have an AMD Sempron64 machine and SuSE 10.0.  I am no expert, but I think that the problem lies in the installation of NIKal.  I am thinking it might be SuSE 10.0?  The kernel does not seem to configure properly, even though the instructions in the README file were carried out. . .
