this card's analogue channels stopped functioning as expected. After removing and replacing the cable betwixt the cpu and junction box (scb-68) channel ai1 worked again, but ai0 still not. Could this be a problem with the hinged Dell design of computer case?

Hello;

The best way to fully test the DAQ board is by reinstalling it on a different machine.
If, after you do that, you still see the same behavior on that AI channel, the board is probably damaged, and the way to go about that is to give NI a call to have the board fixed.
