So basically my mydaq won't generate correct voltage anytime that a resistor is in the circuit. I can use the software to output a voltage, and read this voltage with either the built in multimeter or using a handheld klein, and it is correct. If I create a circuit with nothing but a single resistor, the voltage will not go over 2.27 no matter how high the voltage output is. I've checked this with the built in as well as my own, with several different resistors. To make sure I wasn't going crazy, I even created the exact same circuit with a 9volt battery and measured expected voltages. I'll attach a picture of what I'm doing for clarity.
So is this thing broken? Is there a reset button somewhere or an easy fix inside? I'm just trying to get some simple lab activities done for my school.
Thank you in advance for anyone who can help me!

I'd suggest changing the resistor value to 1 meg and then 100K and see what you read.
