logger data format

Hallo all,

I'm trying to log data using MAX VI Logger, and have a couple of queries concerning the exported data format:

1, the time instant takes format as 11:13:24,249, how could I change to a relative time form, or other fomat which enables mathematic operation, such as, subtraction, as I'd like to plot them for documentation?

2. the sampled data have '.' as decimal point, how could I set it to ',' in MAX for further processing by my German version Excel?

Concerning first question:

a) Go to the Task Attributes->Data Export->Data export setttings

b) Choose "Custom template" as Style

c) Click the "Customize template" Button

d)Replace "time" with "timeOffset" in the "Row format" field

Concerning second question:

There is only  a workaround for this:

1. Import Data from VI logger to File using Tab Delimiter.
2. Change Regional Settings to US. Under control panel » regional settings.
3. Open the file in Excel.
4. Change back settings to german.
5. The excel document will auto change the values correctly.
