how to set iepe property in labview signalexpress

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi, I have Labview 8.5 here connected to a USB-9234. We are trying to use accelerometer which need to be configured as IEPE, I tried as one post in this forum: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=100&message.id=1976&query.id=143505#M1976

but I can't find it in the Labview signalexpress neither when I browsed as the address in that post.

Here is my searching addess: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\vi.lib\DAQmx,is that right?

Hi Lester14,

To configure your accelerometer as IEPE, you'll want to do this from within LabVIEW rather than trying to navigate to it through C:\Program Files (you'll need a property node which cannot be easily navigated to- the other forum post where this was mentioned is talking about using DAQmxBase which uses VIs to set this property rather than a property node).  I think all the information you'll need is found in THIS KB.  Let me know if you need more help!

Great! I didn't realise that Iex source was for the IEPE option. Thanks.
