I want to know what is meant by 14 bit high resolution ? How to decide resoltuion for DAQ system?
Thanks,

Hi c59409,
Resolution is the number of bits that the analog to digital converter uses to represent the signal. The higher the resolution, the higher the number of divisions the signal range is broken into, and thus, the smaller the detectable signal change. For your example, 14-bit resolution, the smallest detectable change is 1/(2^14) of the signal range.
