control blinking of on board led for USB-6008

I am using a USB-6008 in a test set and would like to control the blinking of the LED other than the random blinking it provides when connected.  Is it even possible to do this programmatically.  I know through MAX I can tell it to blink so I figure there is a way.

Nope, the blinking signal comes from the micro on the device. 

MAX cannot control the green LED on the device.

Use a digital output to blink an LED rather than trying to control the one on there.
