can PCI-6025E provide 5VDC, 2A?

I have 12 solenoid valves (5VDC, 0.65W each) mounted on a manifold/circuit board that I want to control via LabVIEW. I can use the +5VDC power source off the board, but that has a 1A fuse. If all 12 valves were powered at once, that would need a current of 1.6A (I think; electronics is not my strong suit). Is there any way I can use the PCI board power (say by using some external wiring and multiple 5V source channels) to avoid an external higher current power supply? Thanks.

No, to get 1.6A you will need an external supply. You can probably pick up a 5VDC 2A (or more) supply for less than $50 from your local electronics supply. Even if you only use a few solenoids and the peak current is less than 1A, an external supply would still be a good idea.

Hello;

No, the E-series devices can provide 5VDC but at a lower current than the 1.6A you need.

To accomplish that you will need to use an external power supply.
