cDAQ module for use with Linear Position Sensor

I'm looking for a module that will connect with my VARIOHM IPL Linear Position Sensor and produce accurate results. I'm using a cDAQ-9178 with an NI 9219 module. My sensor has three pins, a V+, a collector and a ground pin, and I have been connecting it to my DAQ using a half bridge connection for a custom voltage with excitation setup, however the results have been extremely inaccurate with no repeatability. What is the best module for use with this type of sensor, preferably one that has LVDT functionality. I am happy to provide any more information required.

1. Could you share with me the wiring configuration you are using between the module and the sensor?
2. Could you tell me what is the max excitation voltage that this sensor receives on the V+ terminal?
3. Could you share some of the code you are using to acquire the data?
