cDAQ Ao's for testsystem

Hey,

am I right that cDAQ is mostly used for remote DAQ ?

cDAQ not realy mented to be used for production testsystems ?

e.g. current and voltage analoge outputs to feed testsystems...

thx,

Koen.

That's not correct at all. What makes production test systems so unique that a cDAQ is not appropriate?

Good morning,

thanks for the discussion.

Perhaps I should try the exercise again to assemble a proper cDAQ system with the advisor, but I think I was struggling to find a proper module for:

1. generating 20mA DC current

2. for many inputs, so I needed switching/multiplexing (as I remember, I found one or more modules for this, but not sure..)

3. Liked to find programmable resistor module (I think I didn't find such a module in cDAQ series (had to revert to PXI...))

or simulated PTC/NTC..

Most of the signals to generate are below 20mA DC.

Many of the signals to generate or measure are below 24V DC, but also in some cases AC.

Some currents to measure can be below 200mA.

Hope to be specific enough, regards,

Koen.

cRIO seems to be the answer.

used together with external MUX/Switch
