cDAQ AO to AI

Solved!
Go to solution

Hey everyone,

I'm currently trying to read in 4 AI channels and output 1 AO signal. For my application, the timing of the AO in relation to the AI is of importance. TO be sure, I would like to record the output AO signal. Is there a possibility to record that AO signal somehow internally with out doing a hardware loop?

I am using a cDAQ-9178 with a 9215 and a 9263 module in it for this purpose.

Hi George,

if you have an AO you can´t use this as AI at the same time.

In the example data base in LV you´ll find an example for voltage - continuous output. ( help --> find examples --> HW Input and Output --> DAQmx --> Analog Output)

You can see, that the AO signal is shown in a graph there.

Instead of the graph you could also use an array or something else.

Hope this was helpful.

Best regards,

Nina
