cDAQ 9188 loss connection after sometime

Hi,

 

I have trouble with loss connection Error code -201390 after sometime.

 

This occur randomly, will take up to 6-7 hours. Im using dell xps wih windows 10. My pc directly connected to cDAQ and using static IP. 

 I did as per NI suggested, 

1. Setting on power mode pc

2. Disabling firewall

3. Untick power mode for lan card.

 

Well this error still occur. anyone happen to face this problem too?

By the way, my application run 24/7.

Hey Fendy, Without knowing more about your application this sounds like a random network hiccup. Do you already have error handling code in your application that detects error -201390, closes the DAQ_AI task, and then simply restarts it?

 

This would also make your application more fail-safe in case e.g. someone accidentally unplugs a cable for a second.

I found that most of the suggestions are on handling error -201390. I already did that, whenever my vi detect error, I will go to stop daqmx state and wait on the status of network and reserve back cDAQ(programatically). 

Now the system is running and in period of monitoring by me. Hope to see the system is running well without error (network loss).
