I'm using a system with several cDAQmx devices (9181). The devices are on the Ethernet and there will be a chance of loosing network connection to them.
Therefore I introduced to ping the device before actually using it. If ping fails, then the init section is running.
Lets say we have set some DO channels high. And then we loose communication while running the attached code. The code will then reset the device outputs and that should not happened! I would like to see the DO to be back in the same state as when we lost connection to it.
Is there a chance to get the device back without resetting it? The code should for sure laso work after a power up.
To program the power up state is not an option, as after a power reset the device should always start with all DO = OFF:.
