Wiring RH/Temp Transmitter to NI-9208

Hi! I am new to current data acquisition. I have a Series RH-R Temperature/Humidity Transmitter from Dwyer that I want to hook up to my NI-9208. The wiring diagram is linked below. I am a little unsure of what to do with my grounds. From the wiring diagram it appears as it the ground of the Temperature and RH receivers should be hooked up to the ground of the power supply. So for wiring what I think I should do is put the + of my power supply to terminal 2 on the Transmitter. Then wire terminal 1 of the transmitter to DAQ AI1 and terminal 3 on the transmitter to to DAQ AI4. Then I can just wire the power supply ground to the DAQ COM. I already have something wired into the ground - so what I will need to do is use a wire block connector so that I can consolidate the two grounds to one to place in the DAQ COM port. Is that correct?

This statement is correct. To rephrase, connect DAQ's COM to Power supply -ve (GND). You can choose any AI channel, I believe you have reasons why AI1 and AI4.
