Why is Labview saying VI version is later than LabvIEW version.?

I have recently transferred my DAQ set-up to a new PC. I am running Windows XP, LabVIEW 6.1 with a PCI-6034E card and an NI-4351 card. I have loaded NI-DAQ legacy 7.4.4 to enable me to use these cards.

When I copy all my VIs over to the new computer and try to run them, I get this message:

"Error code 9: VI version (7.0) is newer than Labview version (6.1)".

All the AI sample icons in the VIs have been replaced by question marks. The AI sample (input) icons appear on the functions-DAQ menu, but when I try to drag an AI sample icon from the functions-DAQ menu on to a new VI, the same error message appears.

What am I doing wrong? The VIs have never been run on any other version of LabVIEW. I have always used 6.1.

You installed traditional DAQ 7.4.4 and the earliest version of LabVIEW that it supports is 7.0. This is stated in the readme file on the download page. Try 7.4.1.
