i have a few doubts regarding the A-D conversion. i'm an amateur in instrumentation.
what will happen if i connect the 4-20mA signal to the 0-10v port?
is there any resistance for the A-D convertor?

Hi,
It depends on the input resistance of your 0-10V port and of the accuracy you want.
You can put a 500Ohm resistor in parallel to your input to generate 0-10V from the current 0-20mA
The input resistance of the 0-10V input gives an error if it is low.
Does this help ?

I am having Bosch make Pressure Transducer 0-250 Bar & giving feed back 4-20 mAmp while our PLC is having only 0-10V dc input signal to read.
Can I use my existing mAmp Pressure Transducer with any little modification?
If use? How?

Hi,
First of all it is better to start a new thread than replying on old or ancient threads.
Just do what I wrote in my previous reply. A resistor of 500Ohm in series in your 4-20mA loop and connect the resistor at the PLC input.
