Is there any way to pare down the amount of stuff that is installed with 'NI-DAQmx' ?
We are using only the ethernet 9181 chassis with a 9265 AO unit in a dedicated application that runs on PCs with minimal memory and disk space.
On my development systems, after installing the NI software, there are no less than four NI programs that start when the computer boots, and there are at least six NI services that start.
We are not using LabView, and do not have a copy of LabView.
Can I create a custom installer that installs only the parts that are actually needed at run time?
Or, can we uninstall parts of the 'NI-DAQmx' suite that are not needed?
