I was wondering if anyone has used the External Reference voltage feature of the PCI-6713 in Matlab. I am trying to improve my effective DAC resolution by using an external reference of 5 V rather than the internal of +10 V but I am having trouble setting this up in Matlab. Does anyone have some experience in this they might be able to share with me?
Are you using the Data Acquisition Toolbox? The function call in C is DAQmxGetAODACRefExtSrc(), and DAQmxSetAODACRefExtSrc() so there may be a similar function in that toolbox in Matlab.
