Using DuelAdapter with 6036E

I am trying to use a Dueladapter to get my Daqcard-6036E to work with my new Dell Vostro 1710 laptop. This computer only has a ExpressCard/54 slot. This computer is running Windows XP Service pack 3.

The problem I am running into is that the card is recognized in MAX but it will not bring up a test panel. The error code is -10845 (overflow error). Another issue when you try to configure a SCXI Chassis (either automatically or Manually) it locks the computer up.

Can anyone help me figure out this communication problem? I have verified that this card and cable are working by hooking the system up to another computer with a PCMCIA Slot.

Getting the Card recognized in MAX is further than Aerogoob got.  The error you are getting implies that you are getting a FIFO buffer overrun.  I am assuming that a simple example program also fails?

We do not support the DuelAdapter converting out products to work as Expresscards.  I wish there was something we could do to help but the intricacies of this conversion process are many.
