We have a old M series 1MSPS NI DAQ 6251 PCI card connected to a SCB 68 board. I have installed LABVIEW SignalExpress ver 2011 on my windows XP PC. I added a step in Signalexpress to read from analog channel ai0. But I am not getting proper output for e.g. even after connecting channel ai0 to Ground I am getting a sine wave of about 50 Hz's with peak to peak amplitude between min voltage to Max voltage. I have installed the driver for the card from its setup CD nidaq890. The device is being detected and showed in signalexpress.I am able to select signal. But still reading are not proper. I would like to know possible mistake I could be making or is there any problem in hardware?
